What hardcore BDSM is really about?
Everyone who enjoys BDSM has their own reasons for why they are drawn to it. It could be all about pleasure, pain, fear, control, exhibitionism, voyeurism, or just about anything in-between. Some people like it soft and sweet, while others crave intensity and aggression. Luckily for us, there are men like BoundGods director Van Darkholme and his boy-next-door model Nomad, who volunteer themselves to experiment with just about every possible way to play, so that we may watch and benefit from their journey, possibly even learning something about our own desires in the process. In a recent test shoot entitled “30 Minutes of Torment,” (can be found here) Van and Nomad pushed the boundaries of their Dom/sub relationship by exploring various types of edge play including gut punching, extreme flogging, harsh CBT and waterboarding. While it’s not quite the same thing as experiencing it yourself, Van and Nomad’s scene is so powerfully intimate that it gives the viewer a visceral sense of what hardcore BDSM is really about.
